LABRUM's Fall/Winter 2023 collection, titled "From Greener Pastures," was showcased in an intimate and culturally rich runway event earlier this year. The collection drew inspiration from West African heritage and the connections between families separated by geographical distances. Designer Foday Dumbuya paid homage to the vendors and residents of London's Brixton Market who contribute to building a vibrant community.

In preparation for its Spring/Summer 2024 show at London Fashion Week, LABRUM has released a poignant film documenting the essence of the "From Greener Pastures" collection. Directed by emerging creative julianknxx, the film captures the Brixton skyline and features soulful saxophone solos by London's Balimaya Project musicians. Nigerian poet Inua Ellams narrates a heartfelt story about the challenges faced by immigrants, while Ugandan locals share their optimistic journeys to England. The film showcases LABRUM's FW23 runway in a cherished light, accompanied by traditional African dance choreography.

The film offers an exclusive glimpse into the cultural richness and storytelling that define LABRUM's fashion and creative vision. You can watch the film above to experience the depth and beauty of the "From Greener Pastures" collection.
