Doja Cat has once again taken to Twitter to reveal the new title for her highly anticipated upcoming album. Earlier this week, the artist was very vocal about her past two albums, Planet Her and Hot Pink. She called both projects "cash-grabs" and proceeded to tell fans, "Y'all fell for it." She also added, "Now I can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while y'all weep for mediocre pop."
In another follow-up tweet, Doja Cat also revealed to fans the title of the upcoming album. Earlier this year, Doja Cat said that the album might be titled Hellmouth. However, she is now setting the record straight, confirming that it will not be so. She writes, "it's not called hEllMoUth either. It's called 'First of All', and yes, I'm announcing the album title right now."
Speculation regarding when her new album will surface and what her sound will be like has been ongoing since last year. After saying she would embrace rave culture on her next album, she switched it up and said she's doing rock instead. However, the most recent developments seem to point her album in the direction of rap. As of now, Doja Cat has not yet confirmed the release date of her new project.
