The Band Has 12 Songs Completed and Is Set to Release Their First Album Since 2017
Pharrell Williams has confirmed that he has worked on 12 new tracks for N.E.R.D, the alternative hip-hop and rock group he is a part of alongside Chad Hugo and Shay Haley. Pharrell made this announcement during a conversation with Tyler, the Creator, which was featured in GQ.
He revealed that he had been working on the new N.E.R.D. tracks while he was in Paris and that they capture a similar vibe to the band's iconic "In Search Of..." album from 2001. Pharrell emphasized that he wanted to recreate the feeling he had while making that album, saying, "It’s good bro, it’s good. This is like that feeling that I felt when we made In Search Of... I won’t sit here and tell you that they were hits. I knew it was different, and I knew there won’t be nothing out there like this. But I’m talking about the feeling. I wanted to do everything. I wanted feelings."
Fans of N.E.R.D. have been eagerly awaiting new music from the group, as their last album, "NO ONE EVER REALLY DIES," was released six years ago in 2017. This confirmation from Pharrell has raised excitement levels among fans, who are now eagerly anticipating the release of the new tracks.
